Robert M. Harkin

Trained in England as a Carpenter / Joiner (cabinet maker) in the early 1970's, and worked for a small company restoring old period homes, banks, hospitals and "Marks & Spencer Retail Stores".

Came to Toronto, Canada in 1977 and started own company in residential renovations, in Rosedale, Forest Hill, Riverdale etc.

Worked throughout the mid 1980's to the early 1990's in commercial and institutional properties through out Canada and the USA, building Restaurants, Hotels, Stores and Banks.

Started Harkin in 1993 to work in high-end Renovations, Additions and Design Build Homes through out the Toronto Down Town Core, and more recently in the Scarborough Bluff Area's.

With over 30 years in the construction industry beginning with hands-on experience as a trades man, through to project management of multi million dollar projects. That include all components, initial design through to final design, initial project estimating and budgeting and complete job costing.

Also a love for the business and a reputation for quality, honesty and fairness with clients, trades and suppliers over the years.
